Welcome to Prism Lines (词有戏). These Terms of Service govern your use of the desktop app and related services. By downloading, installing, registering, or continuing to use the app, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description
Prism Lines is a desktop language-learning application. Video and subtitles you import are parsed locally for line-by-line study, vocabulary marking, spaced review, and sentence playback. The app does not host or distribute any video content.
2. Distribution & Updates
- Download installers only from the official site or author-approved channels.
- The app may check for updates; you choose whether to install them (per your build).
3. Payment & Refunds
Some features (such as cloud vocabulary sync) may require a paid plan.
Free trial: Before you pay, we offer a free trial (duration and included features are shown in the app) so you can evaluate the product first. Because a free trial is provided, all paid orders are non-refundable, including for non-use, dissatisfaction, or personal reasons, except where law or the payment platform requires otherwise.
Pricing, billing period, and benefits are shown at purchase. Payment is processed by third-party providers; we only receive the result needed to activate your plan.
4. User Compliance
- You must have legal rights to video and subtitle files you import and comply with local copyright and privacy laws.
- Do not use the app to share or distribute unauthorized copyrighted media.
- Prism Lines is not liable for third-party media you import or use.
5. Disclaimer
The software is provided “as is.” The author is not liable for indirect damages from use or inability to use the app, except where law requires otherwise.
6. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance. Material changes will be posted in the app or on this site.
