Prism Lines Privacy Policy ​

1. Principles

• Local-first: Imported paths, subtitles, study progress, vocabulary, and review schedules stay on your device by default.
• Minimal collection: Core learning does not require uploading viewing history or word lists to the cloud.
• Optional network: Online dictionary, updates, or crash reports—if used—send only what that feature needs (see in-app notices).

2. Local Data

May include: media library index, parsed subtitles, flashcards, review schedule, settings. Location is shown in About or Settings. Back up before uninstall; leftover files depend on your OS.

3. Third Parties (if any)

• Dictionary / translation APIs: May send query text, not your video files (per integration).
• Updates: May send version and platform to check for new builds.

We do not sell personal data. Partners are chosen with security and compliance in mind.

4. Deletion

Deleting records or vocabulary in the app removes corresponding local data. Cloud sync rules, if added later, will be described separately.

5. Children

The app targets self-directed teens and adults. Users under legal age should use it with guardian consent where required.

6. Policy Updates

Revisions appear on this page; significant changes will be highlighted in the app or site.
